The AJ Bell Great South Run is one of the world’s most popular 10-mile races, with a fantastic 5k option available as well. This event offers a perfect mix of inspiring history, invigorating sea air, and breath-taking coastal views along the stunning Portsmouth route. With the enthusiastic support of local crowds cheering you on every step of the way, the race is filled with high energy, from music and cheers to high fives and fist bumps. Participants are rewarded with a medal, an exclusive finisher t-shirt, and well-deserved bragging rights at the finish line. Every £9.16 raised could fund another hour of expert care in a safe, fun, and stimulating environment where children can develop life skills, gain independence, and enjoy new experiences. This essential care allows families to take a much-needed break, rest, and recharge, knowing their child is in safe hands. Cherry Trees is a lifeline for over 60 families, offering care after school, overnight, and for longer stays.

We pride ourselves on providing exceptional home from home care, with a range of exciting areas in the house and garden for children to safely play in, have fun and develop lasting friendships.
Donate

Every donation, no matter how small or large, makes a difference to families who need respite care for a child with complex disabilities. Your donation helps to keep families together. Thank you so much for your support. You may also, only if you wish, choose to add the cost of the bank transaction fee to your donation. This is 2% of your donation amount and means that our costs are reduced, with more money available for our charitable activities. Thank you.
