  1. Partnership with Young's Pubs

Partnership with Young's Pubs

Cherry Trees are really excited to have teamed up with Young's Pubs again this year with a 'Cherry Trees Dessert' being added to Summer Menus across Surrey.

For every dessert sold 50p will be donated to support the invaluable work of Cherry Trees.

Cherry Trees

What we do

Cherry Trees provides home from home care for children with complex disabilities and a meaningful break for their families, all across Surrey and the surrounding counties.

Last year, Cherry Trees provided a lifeline to 75 families by providing 1,512 sleepovers and 603 tea or day visits. On top of this core care, we ran five parent and staff wellbeing days, and provided small but vital financial grants through our bursary and welfare funds. These additional services ensure our families receive the physical, emotional and financial support they need.

Providing this lifeline costs £1.3m a year. This is part funded by the local authority but costs, on average, an additional £4.25 per hour of care.

Getting involved

As well as visiting your local Young's Pub and ordering our dessert, there are lots of other ways you can get involved, here are just a few

  • Make a donation - you can do this via our donate button with the option for a one-off gift or a more regular monthly donation.
  • Attend an event – from informal opera to Christmas markets, find something that suits you on our events listings
  • Fundraise for us – from coffee mornings to climbing mountains, there is literally no limit to what you can do to raise funds. See our challenge events and fundraising ideas pages for more ideas.
  • Stay connected – you can follow us across Facebook and Instagram and sign up to our monthly e-news, Cherry Bite.

Thank you again for your support.

It is only through the generosity of people like you that we can continue to provide home from home care for children with complex disabilities, providing the best experiences for every child and family who rely on us.

We hope that you are enjoy your visit to your local Young's Pub.

Every donation, no matter how small or large, makes a difference to families who need respite care for a child with complex disabilities. Your donation helps to keep families together. Thank you so much for your support. You may also, only if you wish, choose to add the cost of the bank transaction fee to your donation. This is 2% of your donation amount and means that our costs are reduced, with more money available for our charitable activities. Thank you.
