We were delighted to welcome the BBC South Today team to Cherry Trees to talk about the impact of short-break respite and what this means to the families who we support. The crew spent some time chatting to our CEO Claire Bryant and one of our families before learning about our facilities and filming the children's afternoon activities!

With currently 1.8 million children in the UK with a disability, short-break respite is a lifeline to many families. In this report, Melody and Carissa shared their story and what Cherry Trees means to them.
