About us Reports Ofsted report We are delighted to share that we have received an OUTSTANDING judgement for the fourth year running. It is truly a testament to the exceptional commitment of all those involved with Cherry Trees that we have been able to achieve this once again. The criteria to achieve this top grading is long and detailed, but we would like to share a couple of extracts from the report as they highlight our values and ethos of ‘Child First Disability Second’. “Children’s voices are at the core of their care. Staff understand children’s wishes and feelings and ensure that these are acted upon.” “Staff have formed nurturing relationships with the children. Children are happy and animated when they come to stay; they receive well-planned care and enjoy the activities.” The inspectors noted that staff have a “thorough understanding of how to meet each child’s individual needs”, and that they “ensure that the children have the best time they physically can when they stay”. This is due to the hard work and dedication of our team of staff and all those who support us as volunteers, fundraisers and donors. Every single person involved in the charity has helped. Thank you to everyone involved for helping us continue to deliver outstanding care. Download the full report here Manage Cookie Preferences
